- Tanya Edwards and Brandon Sperling joined us via Zoom to present the draft of the 20211/2022 Financial Audit The audit will be publicly posted when it is made available to us.
- The Alberta Government has given.an extension to all school divisions for the AIberta Education Results Report. The previous due date for this has been moved from the end of November to the end of January 2023.
- Thank you so much to everyone who able to help with the VSF Casino this month! This is one of our big fundraisers and we sure appreciate the willingness to participate.
- We are also so thankful for all our volunteers who really do such an amazing job for our kids in our school!
- The survey that the Stakeholder Engagement Committee has sent out to the parents has generated several results We really appreciate your feedback, If you have not had a chance to fill out the survey yet please consider doing sol! It doesn’t take much time, is anonymous and will really help the Board as we review the Charter document for the renewal through this year.
- The Board has contracted the services of our previous interim Superintendent Dianne McBeth to assist us in revising our VSF Bylaws as well as our Board policy handbook. She had stated this work when she vas covering as our Superintendent, is well versed in our Bylaws and Policies and this is an area of expertise for her. This work is tentatively scheduled to take place at the end of January so that we can have the new documents available at the March ACM to present to the Foundation Membership for their review and hopeful approval.
